Galerie Klatovy Klenová, Czech Republic, May 16 - July 12, 2020 (the gallery blurb): "The author will present black-and-white photographs taken while on assignments and private trips in Canada. Some photos represent a record of his walks around Toronto where he has been living for many years. The author is attracted to minimalist motifs in landscape as well as in the city. If there are people in his photographs, they are often placed in their surroundings so that they are not participating in the main action, thus drawing more attention to themselves. Some photos contain subtle humor, hyperbole, a message that may not always be immediately apparent to the viewer. Rather static nature of the images and the gentle tiptoeing around the story escapes easy stylistic characterization; the photographs are closest to subjective document and urban landscape."
